Episode 5: The Power, Healing and Safety of Sacred Sisterhood
In this soul-stirring episode, co-hosts, Myra Capri and Kailei Carr, sit down with licensed therapist and coach, Aseanté Renee, and NAACP-Image Award nominated on-air talent, Gia Peppers. Together, they explore the powerful dynamic of sisterhood; how it becomes a space where we’re not only seen but reflected back to ourselves in safety and sacredness. The conversation moves through the layers of emotional honesty, from what it feels like and even the healing required within our own communities in order to be able to deeply connect in a healthy way.
The ladies speak candidly about sisterhood as a journey that makes us feel richer together, while ultimately discovering sisterhood to be an unspoken language—particularly for Black women. They also explore the provocative question: "can we have sacred spaces with people who do not look like us?"
This conversation is a soft but powerful call to return to one another—to build, heal, and grow in ways that honor the best version of who we’re becoming. Sisterhood and Beyonding aren't just about the destination. It’s about showing up, even when we don’t know what’s on the other side.
